Brody’s First Razorback Game

Last weekend, we took Brody to his first Razorback game! He was very excited before leaving the house!

Brody has been attending Razorback tailgate parties since he was 3 weeks old, but he had never gone to a game. His sister went to her first Razorback football game at only 5 weeks old. She went to 4 home games that season. Brody was way overdue to attend a game with us!

Little cutie in his seat taking it all in!

Our view from our seats. This was about the only time all night it wasn’t raining during the game! There were 2 rain delays and they ended up calling the game in the 3rd quarter because the weather was so bad. Not the ideal first game experience, but it was still such a fun night.

We are blessed to have indoor seats so the rain didn’t affect us too much. My parents sit nearby so we hung out with them during the rain delay. Brody loved that Big Daddy was at the game, too!

We realized that the rain was going to end the game, so we left during a clear moment at halftime and headed home. We have to walk past TCBY to get to our car, so of course we had to stop.

It was the perfect ending to our fun night with Brody!

Totally ridiculous but I teared up reading this post! What is it about SEC football?!? My 4 year old went to his first game earlier this year, and my 2 year old will see his first Vols game in 2 weeks. I can hear them in the other room now singing Rocky Top ;)

He is getting so big, Jennifer. Oh so cute as well! I bet he liked having mommy and daddy all to himself for a while.

I love solo dates. It's so much easier to just have one kid plus so much fun. Brody is so handsome.
