After lunch, we stopped by Rick's Bakery to pick-up a birthday cake for our friend Ryan. His birthday was Wednesday so we had cake during small group to celebrate! Brody got a cookie while we were there and we sat and watched them decorate cakes. It was really neat to watch. As many times as I have been there, I have never taken the time to watch them decorate. It was fun!Thursday, May 27, 2010

22 Weeks
I look like a pregnant girl this week! It's kind of crazy how much I grew in one week...or how much Jillian grew in one week! :)How Far Along: 22 Weeks
Size of baby: 11 inches long and weighs almost one pound. She is the length of a spaghetti squash!
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 10lbs
Maternity Clothes: I can still wear my normal jeans and clothes as of right now but I don't like the way some of my normal shirts look on me. All my maternity clothes are still way too big except for fitted tank tops and two shirts. I am sure in the next few weeks I will start needing those maternity clothes.
Movement: Yes! I love it! It's my favorite thing about pregnancy!
What I miss: I really can't say I miss a thing.
Sleep: I think I sleep pretty well for being pregnant. I have dreams that wake me up nightly and now I am waking-up to go to the bathroom but it could always be worse.
Symptoms: Crazy dreams and indigestion. I am starting to get heartburn and reflux from drinking water. Ha! And I thought the morning sickness was over but it's still not. I got sick 2 mornings this past week. I think she is fiesty! :)
Best Moment this week: Seeing Jillian move and kick. It's so fun to lay and watch her move around!

I just love them! I think she needs a pair of cowboy boots to wear with them. :) I am sure see will look precious in these next summer. I am seriously loving all these cute, girly things!Friday, May 21, 2010
Library Date and Super Easy Chocolate Pie
This is part of the children's area at our library. It is so nice and SO child friendly! It is on a separate floor from the adult area so I don't have to stress about Brody being too loud. :)
He worked a few puzzles at a table when we got there.
Then, he played a computer game. Doesn't he look so big sitting at the little table?
Once he was bored with the game, he chose a few books to read and found a comfy spot to sit and read them.
This entire cycle of activities lasted about 4 minutes and then it started all over again. Back to the puzzle table he headed! Ha!
I am hoping we can attend Baby Bookworm (Baby reading time) at the library this summer. It's has always been on the same days as MDO but he will not have MDO this summer so we can hopefully go with some of his friends.
After we left the library, I headed to Walmart (Mall-Mart as Brody calls it) to get a few things to make a chocolate pie. I wanted to make dessert for Josh because he and Brody were hanging out at the house last night while I had some mommy time and got a mani/pedi.
I found this recipe online and it was ridiculously easy. I have seen this recipe several times before but never made it. Most of y'all have probably seen it to, but just in case you haven't, I thought I would share it. :)
Easy Chocolate Triple Layer Pie

Our Wednesday in Pictures
Brody drove his car and then he wrote some notes on a few pieces of paper I had brought outside with me to make lists. :)

We picked-up these things at Walmart to make some snacks for our small group that met that night.
Then, he went back down for his afternoon nap while I finished-up making all these. They were really good and really easy! I forgot that I had some sprinkles in my pantry. I should have put those on the chocolate covered pretzels.
Now we are just relaxing and waiting on all the rain and stormy weather that is supposed to be heading our way. Monday, May 17, 2010
21 Weeks
Pregnancy Highlights:Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 10lbs
Maternity Clothes: I can still wear my normal jeans and clothes as of right now!
Gender: Girl!
Movement: Yes! I am really starting to feel her move a lot and I also feel her when she balls-up in my belly. My belly looks lopsided when that happens. :) Josh can feel her move now, too!
What I miss: I really can't say I miss a thing.
Sleep: Good other than the dreams that wake me up nightly.
Brody was crying because he didn't get in the weekly picture so we had to take another picture with him in it! Ha!

I think this is so cute and will probably be so true! :)
Josh's mom got this cute outfit and frame. I haven't put a picture in the frame yet because the u/s picture has to be cut to fit it and I don't really want to cut any of her 20 week pics so I think I may wait until my 24 week ultrasound and use one of those pictures.
Heather gave me these glass bottles with pink covers as well as some plastic bottles. I cannot wait to try them out!
I picked these up one night at Target while I was shopping. I love this little onesie!
I got these headbands this weekend while we were in Little Rock. I know we will have tons of bows and flowers to clip onto these!
I love having these sweet, girly things starting to fill her closet! I cannot believe we are having a girl!!!
Our Weekend
The 4 of us shopping. Brody looks like he was having the time of his life! Ha!
We also found this cute little gingham one that I am going to have embroidered in white with either his monogram or his name.
We got back on Saturday evening from Benton and quickly changed clothes so that we could go over to the Leslie and Blake's house for a cookout. They are friends of ours from college and moved up here after school as well. They just bought a new house and Blake was accepted into the doctoral program at the U of A, so they had a little party to celebrate both big occasions! Brody was sick so he stayed at our house with my mom. It was kind of fun for the two of us to get to go by ourselves, although we all missed him because he is so funny and entertaining!Friday, May 14, 2010

Wednesday
Brody would not stop staring at the lady next to him. She was getting her hair colored and he did not know what to think about it. :) Brody and I both wear capes during his hair appointments now. He looked so big with his on last night.
Josh was paying for his and Brody's haircuts and Brody walked behind the counter and said, "Hey JuJu?!" in the sweetest little voice. He just loves her. He actually ended up playing at her house last night after the appointment while Josh and I ran a few errands and ate dinner. He had THE BEST time. Julee said at one point last night he called her, "Momma JuJu!" That made me laugh so hard because we have never called her that but he probably feels like she's just like his momma some days! Julee posted pictures on her blog of him and Romeo (Nomeo, as Brody calls him) playing together. Thanks for loving on our boy, Julee!Today, we had our last MOPS meeting before the summer break. I have enjoyed MOPS so much this year. We have a great group of moms who attend and our church goes above and beyond to make it a fun time for us moms. Today, we had a Fiesta to celebrate the end of the year. They had On the Border cater lunch for us. The food was soooo good!! It was nice to be able to eat and visit while our children were being fed and loved on in the nursery. Here is our table at lunch!
We also made this fun little craft while we were there. It's a wooden letter covered in scrapbook paper. It was super easy and each one turned out differently so it was fun to see what everyone else had made.
When I was loading these pictures from today to my computer, I found this picture of Brody and me the morning of our first MOPS meeting in September. He was 11 months old. I cannot believe how much he has grown.
