Favorite iPhone Apps

On Friday, I got a little surprise....
An iPhone!

I had a Blackberry that I dearly loved but it was starting to show signs of dying. I had to charge the battery at least 3 times a day and after being thrown across the house once or twice by Brody, it was on the brink of death.

Josh decided it was time for me to get a new phone. I had gotten him an iPhone for Father's Day last year and he loved his. He knew I would love one, too! And he was right. :)

I have a few apps I really like. One is the AT&T U-verse DVR app. I can set and manage the DVR from my phone. It's really neat and convenient. If we are away from the house and forget to set the DVR, we can just set it from our phone. I also love the Redbox app. We rent from Redbox a lot! You can reserve the movie at the local Redbox you use, then go pick it up later. We did this over the weekend when it snowed. It's great because you know that they are going to have the movie you are wanting!I have several others I like, but I haven't spent much time finding new or fun apps.

I'm curious...what are your favorite apps?

You will looove your iPhone! I'm addicted to mine, I don't know how I lived without it. Some of my favorite apps are of course Facebook and Twitter, and I like Pandora, Blog Press Lite, Urban Spoon, Shop Style, Piperlime, Barnes & Noble, Kayak, Walgreens... Most stores have an app and it makes everything so much more convenient!

I'm completely addicted to my iphone! I really like the Awesome Note app. It's a to-do list app. You can do a bunch of differen things but I keep a password protected present list where anytime I hear someone say something they want, I jot it down. That way, I already have gift ideas!

I also like a traffic app, Pandora, and the Couch Potato to 5K app.

So fun!

I haven't had my Iphone long so I am curious to see what people recommend! I am pregnant and when we were starting to pick out names we bought an app called Baby Namer! I also have one called Bible Verses that is free and gives you a quote from the Bible. I try to use it each day!

I'm glad you posted this! I don't have an iphone but I did get an ipod touch for my birthday last week. I can't wait to read what apps everyone suggests! Dillan is already playing games on it to keep him occupied while I'm feeding little D. :)

I LOVE CameraBag. When you don't have a fancy camera on hand, this app makes pics look gorgeous. All of my pictures are taken on my iPhone and edited with that app.

Zillow is neat too, if you are into real estate.

Blogpress for making quick posts to your blog while on the fly, or sharing a picture.

Facebook of course!

I recently got one called Phonyphone for my 16 month old daughter. It is like a little phone and when you are in a waiting room and give them your phone to play with, it helps keep them from accidentally dialing someone. The calculator works well for that too!

Have fun with your new iphone!

I was wondering how you liked it going from a BB. Michael wants to get us one if Verizon ever starts carrying them. I've been hesitant because I wasn't sure I'd like the touch screen.

Iphone, I'd say is Apple's most in demand product. No wonder various applications are being developed for this phone. It would be nice to consider Iphone cufflinks for loyal patrons of this product.

I honestly can't remember how I functioned before my iphone..I do everything on it!! The 2 apps you listed are 2 of my faves also...so handy! I love many of the ones already shared, and actually picked up a few new ones after seeing some comments, so glad you asked! I bank with Arvest so use their app, as well as a few others to pay bills. And I have a free contraction timer that looks like it will be handy when the time comes as it keeps a running log. I also have a free kick counter...I rarely use it just because he moves a lot, but there have been a few days that I was glad I had it b/c I'm a little ADD at times. I can't remember if anyone mentioned All Recipes or Urban Spoon...those are good...Urban Spoon especially if you're in a different town. Okay, I'll stop now...can't wait to hear which ones you like/use the most and what else you find...have fun! :)
