Another Potty Post

You know we can't go a week without having some kind of incident involving Brody and the toilet. :) Yesterday, was no exception. I had been carrying laundry from my closet and Josh's closet to the laundry room, and in the process, I left the door to the bathroom open. The toilet seat was down but that doesn't stop our little man these days.

While I started a load of laundry, Brody threw every single object he could possibly get his hands on into the toilet. He was so quiet and sneaky. It really is amazing how good he is getting at that. When we walked back into our bathroom, I found a lovely collection of things in our toilet. Brody was no where is sight though.
I thought at first it was just tissue paper from a gift bag, but after lifting the first layer, I found more.

There were notes, more tissue paper, small plastic bags and a new bottle of shampoo that had been on the counter top.

I swear, it was like Mary Poppins' bag...I just kept pulling things out!

I think Brody likes to keep me on my toes! :)

Oh your post made me feel better, our daughter put something down the toliet and now it's stopped up! I need to call the plumber to come take it up and see what's lurking in there. Thank goodness, it was the guest bathroom because that poor toliet cannot handle much right now! We will laugh about this one day!

My sisters kids were into the "toilet play" too - she got one fo these and their fun was over...LOL

He is such a funny boy!! That is hilarious. A few weeks ago, Lilly figured out she can slide stuff between the seat--I found all kinds of stuff in our toilet too. It was so funny I couldn't really be upset. They are clever and sneaky!!! Isn't it amazing how quickly they learn that?? He is so precious and I am so glad to hear you had a great weekend.

I can't wait to hear about your great date! We cheated and just kissed at every red light--we could've been at some lights all night! And, I yelled he was hot as we were leaving Wal-Mart so I didn't have to see anyone's reaction. Haha. I thought it was sooo awesome and can't wait for the next one!! Matt is pyched too! You should do a McLinky when you do your post so we can read everyones Great Date posts.

Well at least he didn't flush it...mine threw a diaper in his bathroom's toilet then tried to flush it...I opened the door to three inches of water and the toilet spewing water everywhere!

Oh my! Brody is hilarious. What is it about little kids and toilets? All my little cousins/siblings seemed to go through a 'throw it in the toilet' phase. Makes me wonder if I did. I'll have to ask. :)

omg, how funny, our children would get along so well!! We even put a lock on the outside of the door so they could not get into the bathroom and flood it like they do EVERYTIME I forget to lock it. It never fails, I think they sit and wait for me to leave it unlocked..lol.. they are in there in under one minute playing in the toilet when I forget! Hope you are having a great week.. this post made me laugh out loud!!

New Shampoo...that's a new one on me!! Mine was the remote control! When my hubby was overseas (couldn't have happened any other time) my dad had to come and literally take up the toilet b/c my DD had procured some small paper bathroom cups and flushed them! The went in open-side up, so nothing was getting past! Kids always keep you guessing! Love your "potty posts" b/c we all have them!!

Tonia said...

Ah yes, the TOILET!! I was just going to mention also to be thankful that he isn't flushing it yet too!! My husband either has to fix our darn toilet or call a plumber because our 2 year old put something down there. We think it may be one of the dogs balls. It is about the size of a tennis ball and needless to say the toilet is not working right!!! It was either my other son or daughter that dunked poor elmo in the toilet once too. I can't wait for him to lose interest in it. Maybe when he actually starts putting potty in there he will think it is gross and quit putting other things in there. He he.

It is cuter when it is someone else's child and toilet! :)
