Escape Artist

The other day, I laid Brody in his sleep positioner for his morning nap. He always sleeps in the positioner when he is in his crib. On this particular day he was a little fussy when I laid him down. I thought nothing of it, I just laid him down and left them room. This is what he looked like when I laid him down. (I had to take a picture to reinact it!)

This is what I found when I walked in about 5 or 10 minutes later to check on him. Of course, instead of immediately moving him, I grabbed the camera for a picture! Look at his face. He is probably thinking,"what is she doing"?
Apparently, he was trying to make the point that he was not wanting to take a nap that morning. Unfortunatly, he had to anyway!

P.S His pajamas look a little pink in the pictures, but I assure you they are red and green!

D used the same sleep positioner. He would wiggle his way down and eventually get off of the wedge. (:

So funny! My son has one of those too and I have found him several times scooted down in between the bumpers. I can't figure out how they do it.

Too Cute! Came over via Kelly's blog. I am having our first baby on Friday, so I love checking your blog to see what we have to look forward too. Looks like you have a skilled athlete on your hands.

Both of my girls use to sleep on those same positioners, but they started doing the same thing and ending up with the faces near the bumper pad or up against the other one, they sleep in the same crib which is recommended for twins, so I ended up getting the flat positioners and just elevating their mattress. It has worked so far.

OMG he is on a roll!
Ok I need to know where you bought that positioner. Keegan sleeps on her tummy and daycare (we start in Jan, TEAR!) won't let her but she is terrified of her back. She acts like she is going to fall. Anyway, yours looks comfy and protecting.
Thank you!!!!

I got my positioner that is like Brody's at Babies R Us, but then when I elevated the girls mattress I got the plain breathable positioner at Target. They are just the triangles that go on each side of them and they are velcroed together in the center. I elevated the girls mattress with a wedge from Baby depot, but my friend was told to elevate hers by the doctor and was recommended to use books under the mattress to raise it about 2 inches. You can try whichever you would like. I just ended up with the problem of the girls rolling over the positioner or off the wedge with the elevated one like Brody's.
